Terms of Service

Effective April 17, 2026  ·  Christian Baldwin

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Quiet Care managed endpoint service ("Service") provided by Christian Baldwin, doing business as Baldwin Consultations ("we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Quiet Care is a subscription-based managed endpoint service that provides automated monitoring, security enforcement, software updates, and related maintenance for your personal computers. The Service requires installation of a management agent on each enrolled device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe. The Service is intended for personal use by residents of the United States. Use of the Service from outside the United States is at your own risk.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is billed monthly at $10 per enrolled device. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Billing is handled by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Money-back guarantee

New subscribers may request a full refund within 30 days of their first payment for any reason. To request a refund, email info@baldwin-consultations.com with your account email and we will process it promptly. Refunds are not available through the self-service cancellation flow. After the 30-day period, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, the management agent will be removed from your enrolled devices and monitoring will cease. There are no cancellation fees.

6. Agent installation and device access

The Service requires you to install a management agent on each device you enroll. By installing the agent, you authorize us to:

Remote access to your device is only performed at your explicit request. We will not access your device remotely without your knowledge or permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages outside our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will prevent all security incidents, data loss, hardware failures, or other adverse outcomes. Quiet Care is a preventative and monitoring service — it is not a guarantee against all possible harm to your device or data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Christian Baldwin and Baldwin Consultations from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
